It’s no secret that some players have been better than others this fantasy season. But who was the most influential in bringing the championship home? Here’s a look at the top 10 players from National League championship teams in Yahoo Fantasy … and 15 more top 25 picks.
1. Jalen McMillan, on 23.18% of championship teams
Although McMillan had average yardage all season, he became a touchdown machine in the final month of the year, scoring six times in his four games. last. He’s not the buzziest receiver out of the rookie class (Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers said hello, among others), but McMillan belongs in the picture. Get ready for exciting interviews with Year 2 hosts next summer.
2. Tee Higgins, 23.08%
Ja’Marr Chase’s managers may be surprised by this, as Chase easily outpaced everyone in the wide area. But Higgins was one of the most high-octane draft picks a manager could make, listed as a WR28 in the summer but tied for the WR2 post in every game. Throw in a narrow goal post and a big man and Cincinnati was the league’s most reliable entertainment.
3. Saquon Barkley, 22.75%
One of the cleanest ways to manage the draft is to draft the best players in the league. And those who landed Barkley were able to get him at a reasonable cost, as he was a late or first-second pick in most drafts. The Eagles didn’t do Barkley any favors with easy touchdowns — Jalen Hurts got 11 from the one-yard line, Barkley zero — but Barkley still threw 15 times, from a staggering average of 29.4 yards.
4. Jonathan Taylor, 22.57%
Taylor’s unexpected mistake in Week 15 cost him valuable points, but he was able to reach the dream managers, finishing RB1 and RB1 in the next two weeks. Taylor also had the most rebounds for all fantasy games, despite the Mile High Miscue. Taylor’s game held a high ceiling with Indianapolis quarterbacks, too.

5. Bucky Irving, 21.98%
It wasn’t a productive year for the rookie running back group, in part because the veteran running backs were surprisingly durable in 2024. But Irving quickly shined as a A special player, he eventually took over for Tampa Bay. With 5.5 yards per rush and a 95.7% catch rate, Irving was too good to be true for most of his first season.
6. Joe Burrow, 20.08%
And here I can point to the Cincinnati carnival we just talked about. Burrow would be a leading MVP candidate if the Bengals win more games; he leads quarterbacks in every notable statistic (completions, attempts, yards, touchdowns). Burrow was particularly unstoppable after Halloween, with an unbelievable 27 passes and 2,648 yards in his last eight games. Loaded offense, leaky defense; it is the juice of the gods of dreams.
7. Jahmyr Gibbs, 19.73%
Gibbs was a top fantasy option all year despite sharing with David Montgomery, but when Montgomery got hurt in Week 15, Gibbs went into overdrive (RB2, RB7, RB2). The Lions had the most consistent offense of all time, the best skill net, blocking, sound quarterback play and timely play.
8. Baker Mayfield, 19.65%
Maybe not everyone was convinced by Mayfield’s comeback season last year, but he was even better in 2024, setting new bests in several metrics. which works. The loss of OC Dave Canales wasn’t a problem — heck, current OC Liam Coen might be even sharper — and Mayfield kept singing even when his receivers got hurt. Mayfield was a standout in the fantasy playoffs, marking QB5, QB6 and QB2.
9. JK Dobbins, 19.57%
An MCL sprain cost Dobbins four games in the latter part of the year, but he returned in time for a strong RB8 performance against New England in Week 17. Dobbins easily surpassed his ADP in months the first three, he posted 13 RB through the first 13 weeks. . Jim Harbaugh has created a new LAC construct in less than a year.
10. Isaac Guerendo, 19.15%
Guerendo was good in Week 17 (RB14, 99 total yards) and moved the needle in Week 14 (25.8 fantasy points, RB2 for that stretch), so we’re giving away our ships. But his inclusion on this list is more a reflection of how fantasy managers play than what Guerendo actually did. Smart managers know when to press the “All-in” button.
